Square America: Christmas
It's almost over! Just another week of stressing, wrapping, spending too much, crowned with a glorious weekend of stuffing yourself till you pass out, and then we can finally get back to normal.
Lamp!
Back in the days when second-hand smoking was good for you. It built character.
Lovely Do, lovely tree.
I have nothing.

It's The Most Wunderful Time of de Year!
Go ahead - Sing along!!
I refuse!
Merry Christmas To All !!!
I'm terrified that one of these days I'll recognize someone in one of your Square America posts, and it will be me.
Usually when I see these old photos, I'm puzzled how they ended up in some second-hand bin. But not in the case of door #3 and door #5. #5 looks like a family photo in a mass murderer's bio.
I agree with Altadenas Hiker.
Reminds me of my winters in Massachusetts during the '70's. Wood paneling and avocado appliances anyone?
Petrea, that would be pretty funny. Now I'm curious what pictures are in your photo album.
Karin, I think the hair styles and the white tree would do it in #4.
Avocado appliance I could understand, but who's idea was the wood paneling? It makes a place feel like a small dark cave.
Merry Christmas, Vanda (well, as merry as greetings can get when sent from one Grouch to another).
A marvellous selection of festive horror! Thank you for reminding me of the trauma of Christmas past.
xx
Yer welcome, and Merry Bah Humbug to you too.
