Lost & Found: A Bird In A Hand

This image is a minor vernacular masterpiece. When I fished it out of the pile of old photos at the flea market I went "now, that's interesting". It would've been easy to miss, since the actual print is quite small.

Gosh, what a natty dresser. Perhaps I should get myself a suit like that if I want to pull a chick (sheesh, did I really say that? Sorry).

Charming. Glad it's found.

If you mean "vernacular" in the sense of "ordinary," I respectfully disagree. I think it's an unusual photo. Weirdly captivating.

"Vernacular" paired with photography refers to photos made by every day people of everyday subjects. I agree with you though: it's weird and captivating.

Jean: I'm glad I found it!

Dive: Perhaps. Put on a three piece and the chicks will eat out of your hand. Especially if you have big hands like that. Chicks dig that. So I heard.

I did see that, just didn't want to mention it, being demure and all.
