I went down to the other weekend when the weather finally brightened up. This time I went into the water--for about two minutes. The damn thing is colder than a frog's ass in December. What a shame, all that water for nothing. I keep telling myself that if it was warm, we'd be like Florida. Nobody wants that.
I managed to get nothing in focus in this little tableaux, but I don't care. I'm not gonna tell you what's going on here either.

Yeah. The only people who swim at soCal beaches are tourists from freezing climes.
Hehe. The Norwegians probably think it's warm.
No they don't.
Love that second shot, Vanda.
I don't understand what all that blue stuff is in the first shot. The sky is such a strange colour to a frozen northerner who's seen naught but snow and ice since last October (frosts again tonight … hey ho).
Dive, your description reminds me of Northern Indiana. *shudder*
Oh yeah, it's 90ºF here today. Not on the beach,on 77º there.
Walk in fast between those waves that slap you down, then dive through the swell. It's cold as ice cubes, but if you move around a lot, you'll get used to it. I swear
