Polaroid Dreams

They might be about the vastness...

...or claustrophobia of landscape.

Or perhaps the luxurious loneliness of five star hotels...

...which, unlike fleabag motels, look the same at any point in the world...

...from Paris to Bejing.

I used to cover up the flash, and point the camera at sources of light in a darkened room.

I liked the minimalist mystery the pictures proposed.

It may be a hard-boiled detective story...

...or flying saucers.

Nice polaroids. Take any other nice shots Sunday?

I like these very much. Are you familiar with the artist Uta Barth? She's local.

Very nice work. Even if it was not meant to do so, the picture of pillows has made me sleepy. I get that warm & fuzzy feel from it.

Stark, that beach. But I still want to go.

PA, no, sorry, I'm not.

Petrea, it smells like poop.

What smells like poop, the photo or the beach?

Vanda said...

So far the beach only.

Gorgeous, weird and trippy, Vanda.
A nice combination.

There's definitely a good story lurking in these photos. If I were a writer I'd definitely be inspired by your photos!
