I like the way the camera of the iPhone 3Gs lets you chose the image area to take light reading from. It allows for some interesting visual effects.

I'm less crazy about the incredibly wide angle lens, though that's pretty much a feature with all point-and-shoots. It also can create interesting effects, especially if the warped horizon lines are your thing, but not very good for portraiture.

It's also pretty grainy in low-light situations, but that is to be expected.

I hope the next version will have an option for setting white balance.

Awesome photographs, Vanda!
And all from an iPhone? Woah!
I love the ghost cat and the beautiful shot of pelicans playing Hitchcock. The drink (is that a margarita? I'm totally ignorant of cocktails) makes me thirsty and the Pox Office (sorry) is fun, but I am most impressed by your 1980s 'New Romantic' balloon trousers! If the Spandau Ballet revival takes off at least you'll be ready.

We are all hung up on the drinks, aren't we? I was curious about that cocktail too, but I really like the warped horizon one. That's how my horizons often feel.

You're really good with that thing, Vanda. But you're an excellent photographer already. I like all the pictures.

Very instructive. Just got a phone that takes photos; you've increased my awareness of the possibilities. The photo of cocktail time is my favorite.
